Paperless Billing Enrollment for Taxation and Utility Billing

The Town of New Tecumseth's Finance Department encourages property owners to sign up for paperless billing. This convenient and eco-friendly option allows you to more efficiently receive and retain issued notices and billings.

Important Information

  • Enrollment for paperless billing is available to the property owner(s) of all taxation and water/wastewater (if applicable) accounts.
  • Upon enrollment, all notices and levies will be sent to the property owner via email at time of issuance. Failure to receive said notice(s) does not relieve the property owner from their requirement to make payment.
  • As per the Town’s Fees and Charges By-law, a fee is applicable to all requests for a duplicate bill and/or notice to be sent via email, and/or for a paper copy to be issued.
  • It is the responsibility of the property owner to update the Town of New Tecumseth of any change in email address and to also maintain an accurate mailing address on file.
  • Any bill or notice sent electronically is considered delivered and received by the addressee unless the email is returned undeliverable.
  • In the event the Town is unsuccessful in delivering a notice via the email address provided, the account will be removed from paperless notifications, and a paper copy will be issued to the mailing address on file.
  • Enrollment is applicable to both tax and water/wastewater accounts.
